Sunbeam Fostering Agency is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Officer/Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our digital infrastructure while supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality services and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
What the role includes:
Develop and maintain internal tools, systems, and applications to support business operations
Assist with the design, development, and deployment of web-based and database-driven applications.
Provide first-line support to staff and foster carers, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify process improvements and implement technology solutions.
Manage user access, system configurations, and software deployments across the organisation.
Monitor IT infrastructure and proactively resolve performance or security issues.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and system documentation.

Requirements
A strong background or interest in IT and software development.
Practical knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, React Js Framework, or similar).
Experience with databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL) and system integration is desirable.
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is desirable equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Minimum 1 year experience in Similar role
