Lead in Data IT
You will work directly on a latest cloud based tools used across our business to onboard, analyse, share, visualise and find data easily. Whether you are a savvy Python scripter, a Business Intelligence wizard or generalist developer we have a role you can play within our data domain providing you direct interactions with our traders, analysts and support functions.
Commercial Asset Optimisation Embedded IT
The CAO UK Embedded IT team is responsible for the design, development and support of bespoke applications for RWE Supply & Trading's mission critical short-term trading desks in Swindon. These applications perform a range of functions from trade capture and aggregation, to balancing, nomination and other downstream processes. "Embedded" means we work very closely with our customers... even when we need to work remotely, the solutions we build are tailored precisely to our customers' needs.
You will join one of our Dev Ops Squads as an Application Developer, where you will be given full responsibility for the design, code, testing and implementation of application changes - working on developments which will directly benefit the UK trading desks.

We're looking for students who are in the penultimate year of an IT degree or a similar statistical or numerate subject such as Mathematics, Engineering or Economics, and who are ideally on course to achieve a 2:1 or higher. What you must have is:
