Tired of feeling like one cog in a giant buying machine? Come and own the IT spend in a small, friendly team of two, where your choices are visible, valued and genuinely make the tech run better for everyone.
This 12-month FTC (maternity cover) puts you at the heart of IT procurement for a major UK law firm. You'll handle the end-to-end purchasing of hardware, software and services, build strong supplier relationships, keep budgets tight and tidy, and make sure everything is compliant and well-documented. It's hybrid working with 3 days in the Ipswich office, and a straightforward 2-stage interview process with one face-to-face meeting.
What you'll need to bring
- Solid experience buying IT - hardware, software and services
- Confidence managing budgets and reporting spend
- Supplier and contract management skills, with neat documentation habits
- Collaborative approach with IT and Finance
- Bonus points for ITAM exposure and ITSM/ITIL awareness
You've got a stable track record and want more ownership than a big, siloed team can offer. Your background could be from any industry, and UK or international procurement experience is welcome. If most of your buying has been non-IT, this won't be the right fit.
