Overview


Are you a highly skilled IT professional who thrives on delivering exceptional technical projects?

We're looking for an IT Project Engineer to join our growing team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising IT solutions that drive efficiency and success for our clients.

As part of a specialist veterinary-focused MSP, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how veterinary practices use technology delivering projects that make a measurable difference to our clients and their teams.

You'll work closely with vCIOs, and other technical teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and with technical excellence, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



1. Project Implementation & Delivery



Deploy, configure, and optimise IT solutions, including hardware, networking, and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.). Execute technology upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal disruption to client operations. Follow structured project plans and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and objectives.

2. Client Engagement & Communication



Act as a trusted technical advisor, clearly communicating progress and technical details to non-technical stakeholders. Translate client requirements into effective solutions and provide post-implementation support. Deliver technical training and documentation to help clients get the most out of their systems.

3. Technical Leadership & Problem-Solving



Act as a subject matter expert during project execution, providing troubleshooting and escalation support. Identify potential technical risks and propose proactive solutions. Ensure systems are built for long-term stability, scalability, and security.

4. Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer



Work seamlessly with Service Desk teams, and other internal departments. Produce thorough project documentation and conduct handovers for ongoing support teams. Mentor team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

5. Standards, Compliance & Best Practices



Ensure all projects meet internal technical standards and MSP best practices. Follow industry-leading security and performance guidelines. Align solutions with the client's long-term technology strategy.

6. Continuous Improvement



Suggest improvements to deployment processes, tools, and automation. Provide feedback from completed projects to refine future delivery methods. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

About You

Desired Skills & Experience:



Proven experience delivering IT projects in an MSP or similar environment. Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security. Experience with cloud migrations, endpoint deployments, and infrastructure upgrades. Understanding of ITIL practices and structured project management principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
