The Role
Account Management of an existing base of 40+ Planet IT support clients.
Building a rapport and a trusted relationship with your clients through a partnership and applying continuous value with your client
Regular calls & meetings with clients to discuss support tickets, sales opportunities, upcoming project requirements
Being an escalation point internally and with your client, setting clear expectations
Quarterly Account Roadmap and Review meetings onsite
Working with the client to understand their goals, budgets and how we can help them achieve these
Working with the Technical Architect team, to deliver, update and review roadmaps
Liaising with Service Delivery stakeholders to identify mutual benefits and risks for both Planet IT and clients - including but not limited to aligning client technologies with Planet IT product stack, minimising exposure to unknown/untrusted technologies.
Meeting Notes completed, sent to customer, and updated on CRM - ensuring action points are followed up and complete.
Updating records and documentation
Scoring clients satisfaction with primary contacts and reporting back to the Customer Experience Team
Being part of new client onboardings and attending site
Progress reports on ongoing projects and identifying upcoming projects.
Responding, and quoting any hardware and software requests including providing weekly forecasting reports
Cross and Up Sell products and services into your client base.
Discuss, advise, and provide quotations to your client base for project requirements.
Maintain working relationships with suppliers, negotiating service and costs as required.
Responsible for maintenance of margins to hit monthly and quarterly GP targets.
Required
3 + Years' experience working within or for a managed service provider (MSP) as an account manager is
essential.
Understanding of business operations
Basic understanding of the sales channel
Basic understanding of the MSP industry
Strong customer service led skills and strong communication.
Conscientious and empathetic
Proven problem-solving skills.
Customer driven, ambitious and solution hungry
An interest in IT and technology.
A positive and self-motivated approach.
