Job purpose



Compliance with the customer's Japanese HQ established global security policy is paramount to maintain and improve security of the organisations and IT environment.
The successful candidate will be required to coordinate with EMEA IT team for compliance activities and also execute some security check independently.
This is a secondment placement at a key customer's office and the successful candidate is expected to work as a representative of our managed security service.

Principal accountabilities



Communication and execution to manage the security compliance actives below with interested parties. Coordination between the customer's IT teams and the parent companies for IT security matters to support compliance with the company's global security policy. Coordination between the customer's IT teams and the parent companies for tracking of corrective action plans as per audit findings to improve IT security. Review the global security policy update and reflect into EMEA IT security policy. Provide IT security advice and guidance to the IT team and staff. Carry out regular access log review and organise improvement where necessary. Organise and provide security training to staff. Correspond with staff for security matters. Document the security process. Support the security incident response. Regular and weekly communications with the customer line manager to update and prioritise task progress. Monthly 1:1 with the line manager and bi-weekly 1:1 with the service management team to be held out of business hours for technical support, information and task status sharing and escalation. Ad hoc requests from your line manager.

Knowledge, skills, experience and key competencies



Several years of experience in the coordination. Experience in IT security administration such as documentation, audit and incident evidence collections, Windows and AV log review. General IT system knowledge in Windows AD, Anti-Virus, MS365 as a user. Ability to appreciate challenges and to learn fast. Aspiration for improvement. Task management and tracking issues Flexible working ethic to meet customer's expectation.
