Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and patient IT Tutor to join our team for an exciting opportunity to help others develop essential technology skills. This part-time role offers 8 hours per week, with the possibility of working 2-3 mornings a week, to be confirmed at the interview stage. The position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of basic IT concepts and a desire to teach and empower others.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Teach basic IT skills in a group setting, including operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, email usage, internet navigation, and basic troubleshooting. Assist students with their technology-related questions, encouraging interaction and teamwork. Help students build their confidence with technology and offer encouragement throughout the learning process. Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to simplify technical concepts for beginners. Maintain a friendly and welcoming classroom environment that encourages questions and group collaboration. Punctuality is very important to ensure smooth class sessions and consistent student support.
