Description
As an IT Apprentice, you will support the IT Manager and wider business with day-to-day IT tasks while learning on the job. You'll gain valuable exposure to a broad range of IT systems and practices, including hardware, software, and user support.
Providing first-line support to staff with IT queries.
Setting up and configuring PCs, laptops, and mobile phones.
Assisting with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Supporting email account setup and troubleshooting.
Helping with basic networking and connectivity issues.
Installing and maintaining office equipment and electronic devices.
Keeping accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and fixes.
Entry requirements
Some practical IT experience (work, education, or personal projects).
A basic understanding of IT systems, Microsoft Office, and email platforms.
Confidence in setting up and troubleshooting phones and electronic devices.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
