Job Description

Our client is now seeking a personable and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join our small, hardworking, and busy technical support team. This is a very varied and exciting role covering many different technologies, inhouse and third party systems.

What will the apprentice be doing?



Provide technical support for Members (ARs) using HLP's composite Point of Sale System, along with support, where required, for Third Party Systems, including Twenty7tech, iPipeline and 360. Provide initial support to our network concerning our in-house CRM System. Logging and resolving ongoing Incidents, Service Requests and problems that affect business operations. Proactive and accurate resolution of queries by liaising across departments where required. Support new internal joiners and external members with outbound contact and system set up. Manage multiple workloads across in-boxes, phone contact and Teams meetings. Capacity to educate others on current systems when required. Provide full support to all staff in relation to IT hardware and software issues. IT

Ensure new starter process is followed within agreed SLA Ensure the asset log is maintained and kept up to date Ordering replacement or new equipment Installing, removing or upgrading new or existing software

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?



The classroom training for the Information Communications Technician (ICT):

Level 3 apprenticeship comprises of 4 modules. Each module takes 1 week, and the apprentice will attend this in an online classroom with their designated JBC trainer The full 5 days will be required on the training weeks, and the apprentice must be in a quiet, suitable environment for learning to take place. This can either be in the workplace or at home The class sizes are small (Max 10 learners) so that discussions and assessment can take place between apprentices, peers and trainers Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
