1st Line Service Desk Engineer
to join our team in Dartford.
The Role
You'll be the first port of call for clients experiencing technical issues, offering remote support across a range of systems and devices.
This role includes participation in a occasional
rotating shift pattern
, which will involve:
Some evening shifts
Occasional weekend work
Bank holiday cover
Key Responsibilities
Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
Troubleshoot and resolve 1st line issues across hardware, software, and networks
Escalate more complex problems to senior engineers
Assist with user account setups, access permissions, and device configuration
Keep accurate records and documentation
Provide friendly, jargon-free support to clients
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role
Understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
Excellent communication skills and a calm, methodical approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft) are a bonus
