This is a IT Support role, working for small, growing family run IT Managed Service Provider. We have been established for over 20 years.

You will form part of a small growing team. Day to day work will involve both remote and on site support as well as installation of new software or equipment. You will be expected to be able to support Network infrastructure, Windows servers, Azure, Active Directory, Network attached storage, Desktops/Laptops & common software i.e. Microsoft desktop & office 365 based. Some experience with other software is advantageous but not essential.

Additional training and development will be included in this role.

You will be responsible for both re-actively & proactively supporting our Clients who are on maintenance contracts as well as some break/fix model clients. You will have access to a RMM system that monitors our clients endpoints allowing you to respond proactively, this removes much of the pressure associated with reactive support.

You will also be expected to assist when meeting with potential new clients in a technical role either by providing site surveys or with technical recommendations once trained to do so.

Salary is based on experience.

Hours are based on 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday, with any overtime to be approved in advance. However on rare occasions you may be required to work out of hours for one off special installations/projects, again with prior arrangement. However this is not the norm.

You must have some experience managing Active Directories & Group policies on windows Server operating systems and dealing with Azure.

Please do not apply if you are freshly qualified without experience.

You must have a full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as you will be required to drive as part of the role. The majority of our clients are within a 10 to 15 mile radius with few exceptions. Mileage will be reimbursed and tools/equipment will be provided

At times when necessary home working can be accomodated in an ad hoc hybrid fashion.
