 IT Support Engineer 
Job Purpose 
 We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to manage and optimise local IT infrastructure, systems, and user support services for business operations. The role involves providing 1st and 2nd line support, managing hardware and software assets, overseeing user access and security policies, and contributing to broader IT projects in collaboration with European and global IT teams. 
Key Responsibilities 
 Support and maintain IT infrastructure including computers, networks, printers, and end-user applications such as Office 365 
 Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support via ticketing system, phone, and email 
 Manage IT hardware and software inventory, including procurement, setup, and lifecycle tracking 
 Administer user accounts, access permissions, and security settings 
 Plan, implement, and document IT changes in line with company policies 
 Collaborate on regional and global IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects 
 Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement; propose and implement effective IT solutions 
 Monitor systems and services using appropriate tools to ensure reliability and performance 
Skills and Experience Required 
 5+ years of experience in IT support roles, including 1st and 2nd line support, ideally in an international or multi-site organisation 
 Strong technical knowledge of: 
 Network and infrastructure support 
 Hardware (PCs, smartphones, printers) 
 Active Directory and Office 365 user support 
 IT security and best practices 
 Experience with Windows Server, virtualisation (e.g. VMware), and backup strategies is advantageous 
 Self-motivated with a hands-on, problem-solving approach 
 Strong team player with the ability to work independently 
 Well-organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills 
 Strong interpersonal and communication abilities 
 Flexible and adaptable to changing business and technology needs 
Desirable Attributes 
 Experience with IT change management and documentation 
 Familiarity with automation tools or systems integration 
 Exposure to international IT environments and multi-region support
