It Support Engineer

Job Description

Are you a Service Desk Engineer looking to take on a new challenge?
Would you like to work with a growing MSP that have customers across Scotland?
You will be predominantly home based but will be expected to be on client site circa 20% of the time for break fix & scheduled project work. With customers across the central belt and up to Aberdeen, this will suit someone who is based in and around the Central Belt.
You will have an opportunity to work a wide range of technology with customers from variety of industries solving 1st and 2nd line incidents, requests and problems remotely.
You should be confident and skilled across the following areas:
Microsoft 365 Suite:

  • Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD
Networking Fundamentals:
  • VPN configuration and troubleshooting
  • DNS, DHCP
  • Basic firewall management
Security & Endpoint Protection:
  • Antivirus troubleshooting and deployment
RMM Platforms:
  • Experience with Datto, ConnectWise Automate, N-Able, or similar tools
General Troubleshooting:
  • Across Windows OS, desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and common cloud applications
Due to their diverse client portfolio, you'll gain hands-on experience with a range of bespoke and industry-specific technologies. Every day brings something new! This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety and continuous learning.
As this role requires travel, you will need a clean, full driving license as well as access to your own vehicle (you will be reimbursed for your travel expenses).
Salary wise, this is paying between 27,500 - 30,000 plus bonus and benefits.
