IT Support Engineer
Permanent role
On-site in Glasgow Office

We're recruiting on behalf of a Services Provider assisting them with a search for an IT Support Engineer where you will act as an escalation point for any P1 incidents.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver first-line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot laptop issues, re-image laptops and resolve connectivity, perform password resets
- Floor walking to assist users, especially during P1 incidents
- Support new starts with access setup
- Proactively manage open tickets by providing consistent and timely status updates.
- Previous experience working within a desk side environment, within a customer related industry.
- Good understanding of PCs, Windows OS, and ticketing systems
- Excellent communication and timekeeping skills.
- An understanding of ITIL best practices.
