IT Support Officer
Kibworth (Leicestershire) based - with occasional on-call duties
Temporary to Permanent
Monday to Friday - 38hrs (between 6am -6pm) must be flexible
Up to 15.00 an hour 29,640 (depending on experience)
Our client, based in Kibworth, Leicestershire, is seeking an IT Support Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT officer - training can be offered, who enjoys solving problems and working face-to-face with end users.
The key responsibilities of an IT Support Officer

  • Deliver on-site IT support for client users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly
  • Diagnose and repair problems across PCs, laptops, printers, and networked devices
  • Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals
  • Escalate complex issues where appropriate and follow through to resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, fixes and client requests
  • Provide on-call support on a rota basis, as required by the business
The minimum requirements for the IT Support Officer
  • Some experience as an IT support or service desk role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and standard business applications
  • Good understanding of networks, printers, and basic cabling
  • Ability to work independently and manage time
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
The ideal candidate for the IT Support Personnel role:
  • IT qualifications (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft Certified, or similar)
  • Experience supporting users in professional office environments
  • Confident troubleshooting under pressure and delivering practical solutions
  • Flexible and willing to take part in an on-call rota if required
