We have a fantastic opportunity at our Skelmersdale site, for an enthusiastic
IT Support
individual to deal with 1st & 2nd line support queries as well as hardware & software upgrades and installations, the setup of new users with accounts and equipment, assisting in projects and keeping all asset information and records up to date.
We are looking for someone with experience within customer service and has an interest in IT, or has previously worked in an IT based role. We will provide a high level of training, meaning you must have a interest for their own personal and professional learning and development.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Support (1st & 2nd Line) - including helpdesk ticket management
Day to day Windows OS, iOS and Android support
Software installation, support & troubleshooting
Technology installation and support
Handheld Scanners
Touchscreens / tablets
Desktops/Laptops/Peripherals
Mobile phones/Landlines
Printers
Meeting room equipment
User account setup and maintenance

About You
Knowledge / experience of:
Windows desktop OS.
Apple iOS and Android OS.
MS Office Apps.
Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
Must be pro-active rather than reactive.
Good planning and organisational skills.
Full driving licence is essential.
Working hours are Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 (1hr lunch) you will be required to participate in the Out of Hours IT Support rota (once trained).
