We have an exciting opportunity for a new
IT Support Specialist
role here at Glow Green. We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our digital team and lead the support of our end users across 2 primary sites in Bournemouth and Ferndown, and throughout our remote work force. This role is critical to maintaining the productivity of the entire organisation. You'll be organised, able to manage your own workload and will be able to triage issues as they arise, dealing with users in a calm and professional manner.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software and networking issues for on-site and remote employees.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to all office IT equipment and networking.
Assist users with our IP Telephony system and our bespoke CRM and sales tools.
Work with external suppliers to acquire new hardware as required.
Manage and configure hardware and user accounts for new starters and leavers across all systems.
Follow security best practices to ensure protection of corporate systems and data.
Perform routine maintenance on all devices and systems, ensuring that they are kept up-to-date with the latest patches.
Create and update user guides, providing training to end users as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years in an IT support role.
Experience using Azure AD / Entra ID and Intune Endpoint Management for device and user management.
Experience with Google Workspace.
Experience with network administration and endpoint security.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Chrome OS.
Experience managing Android and iOS mobile devices.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, triaging and managing multiple tasks.
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent (desirable).
