Duties
Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues across various platforms including Windows Server and Mac OS.
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and DNS settings to maintain network security.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
Document issues and resolutions using Jira or Remedy to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to improve system performance and user experience.
Conduct regular system checks to ensure optimal functionality of IT resources.
Experience
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role is essential.
Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices.
Familiarity with firewall configurations, VPN setups, and DNS management is highly desirable.
Experience with software troubleshooting across various operating systems including Windows Server and Mac OS.
Proficient in using ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy for issue tracking.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
