We are currently looking to recruit a IT Support Technician to join our dedicated IT and Development Team. You'll be working alongside a highly skilled team committed to driving the business forward through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in technology. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about IT who is keen to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on position where you'll play a key part in supporting internal users across all departments. As the first point of contact for IT issues, you will monitor the service desk, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and support our internal systems. You will also assist in maintaining the company's network infrastructure and take part in wider IT projects aimed at improving efficiency and performance.
Full training will be provided, and we offer opportunities to gain formal IT qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across all areas of the business
Install, maintain and upgrade a wide range of IT equipment and systems
Monitor, support and manage help desk ticketing system
Set up and manage user accounts and access rights according to company policies
Maintain accurate asset registers and IT documentation
Monitor system backups and assist in disaster recovery testing
Support IT-led projects including automation and systems integration
Collaborate closely with the wider IT & Development team on strategic initiatives
Skills & Attributes
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
A flexible, proactive attitude and strong customer service ethos
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated
Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the role
Desirable
Any experience (personal or professional) in IT troubleshooting
Familiarity with help desk systems or ticketing tools
