What You'll Do



As an IT Support Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in:

Supporting network and IT systems: Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to keep operations running smoothly. Optimising system performance: Monitoring network traffic and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Collaborating with the technical team: Assisting the Network Manager in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and network devices. Maintaining security: Supporting network security improvements, including VPN setup and data protection. Working on exciting projects: Collaborating on key IT tasks and projects, including potential support for proprietary hardware, satellite, AV, and CCTV equipment. Engaging with the broader business: Ensuring our systems are running smoothly and meeting both internal and customer requirements.

What You Bring



We're looking for a candidate with proven experience in IT support, who brings the following expertise and skills:

Essential Experience:

Proven experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11 Pro, and Server) Hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 and Teams, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, and networked devices Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and security best practices Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service
Desirable Experience:

Experience with Active Directory (on-premises and Azure Active Directory) In-depth networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Hands-on network security experience, including firewalls, VPNs, and data protection Familiarity with VLANs, server technologies, and Anti-Virus products Working knowledge of current communication technologies (VoIP, etc.)
