IT Systems Support Specialist- Head Office, Wythall, Birmingham

Healthcare Management Solutions (HCMS) provides Care Home Owners, Operators, Investors, Banks and Insolvency Practitioners with a one-stop solution to the care home sector. From our dedicated Head Office we operate a team of Regional Managers, Consultants and Support Professionals.

HCMS' IT team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated IT Systems Support Specialist to complement the existing IT team with a keen interest in IT, the ideal applicant will have a passion for delivering outstanding support services to our customers and staff. An excellent telephone manner and good communication skills are essential to this role, as is a willingness to be a team player.

The key functions of this post are to:

Ensuring that IT software and hardware down time is minimised Ensuring that Head Office and care home staff understand the use of the various systems Resolving application errors, system issues, and hardware problems Implementing security measures, managing firewalls, MFA and securing server data Liaising with external support, development and infrastructure teams Managing virtual servers and cloud-based solutions

Experience



A minimum of 2 years in an IT support role Experience of general office practices and procedures

Knowledge



Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMs,

Communication



Impact and influence, ability to communicate and all levels Integrity and respect for client confidentiality Excellent written and verbal skills with a polite telephone manner Professional appearance and conduct

The ideal applicant must be able to prove eligibility to work full-time in the United Kingdom with a relevant working valid passport (not student visa).
