Technical Architect (Banking & Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid 3 days weekly at Sheffield Office
12 months Initial Contract plus Extensions: Competitive Daily Rate Inside IR35
What You'll Do
? Design and implement cutting-edge IT systems, ensuring seamless infrastructure, storage, and networking integration.
? Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
? Define and document scalable enterprise architecture solutions.
? Provide expert guidance on Linux (Primary) & Windows systems, emphasizing Storage &
Backup technologies.
? Champion best practices in cybersecurity awareness, risk mitigation, and IT resilience.
? Leverage tools like Veritas, Commvault, and multiplatform enterprise solutions to drive operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring
Proven expertise in systems design, IT infrastructure, storage, and networking.
Strong understanding of Active Directory (AD), Unix, and enterprise technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and architectural documentation.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in a regulated environment within banking and financial services (preferred but not essential).
