Job Title: IT Teacher

Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Depending on Experience)

A welcoming school in Hull is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Teacher to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that equip students with essential digital knowledge and practical skills.
Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality IT lessons across Key Stages.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports both academic and personal growth.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and professionalism.

Candidate Requirements:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialist in Science.

• Strong subject knowledge in IT and computing.
• Previous teaching experience within a UK secondary school.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to supporting all students to reach their potential.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
