A deep commitment to storytelling is what subliminally connects the space to the customer experience. About the role Sybarite are looking for an IT Technician Apprentice to join their team in London! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career within ICT. After a successful probation period, you will also gain Microsoft Certified Training towards the qualification of an MCSE. Main Responsibilities:

  • Building and the regular servicing of computers and laptops.
  • Installation, configuration and imaging of computers and laptops.
  • Ongoing software patching of all applications.
  • Day-to-day on-site and telephone-based IT support for staff.
  • Data backup administration.
  • IT Hardware upgrades and repairs.
  • Dealing with external suppliers.
  • Ordering of IT equipment and consumables.
  • Receiving, booking in and auditing hardware and software purchases.
  • Beta testing and investigating new software applications for the organisation.
  • Assisting the in-house administration department with day-to-day office tasks.
  • To perform technical and administration-related tasks as requested by the IT Manager.
Skills:
  • Understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Good communication skills, in particular maintaining professionalism with end users (on the phone, in writing and in person).
  • Ability to deal competently and confidently with IT issues as they arise.
  • To work effectively with minimal direction.
  • Methodical, logical and organised problem-solving approach.
  • Embraces Collaboration and develops creativity
Entry Requirements:
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
  • You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
