Job Description
The IT Technician will play a key role in supporting the technology needs of a not-for-profit organisation. This temporary position is based on the outskirts of Liverpool.
- Provide 1st line support on site
- Help set up IT systems and equipment
- Provide technical support to staff, ensuring IT systems run efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Assist with IT-related projects to improve organisational efficiency.
- Monitor IT systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and software licences.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and tools.
A successful IT Technician should have:
- An enhanced DBS
- Experience of fits line support
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of network configuration and maintenance.
- Familiarity with IT security practices and data protection regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Competitive daily rate of approximately 150 to 180 (inside IR35).
