Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Develop and implement menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Supervise and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork. Train new employees in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt menus based on customer feedback. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
