Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, presentation, and quality control
Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, considering current trends and customer preferences
Ensure all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless dining experiences
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Assist in the preparation of specialised dishes and oversee the cooking process to ensure consistency
Experience
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities and team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation standards
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience serving guests or managing a team within a busy kitchen setting is preferred
