Location: This role is based at the Trust Office in Victoria; there is Hybrid working model in place with three days working in the office or visiting our schools and two days colleagues are free to choose their place of work.

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Salary: \xc2\xa345-52k per annum FTE

The role: ITS School Technical Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the GDST ITS Team. This role would be part of the School Support team which is part of a larger Service delivery team. Where you will combine your skills, knowledge, and experience into the team to investigate and resolve issues.

This role is an essential part of the ITS team as you will be the primary escalation for school IT support teams with IT technical issues. You will establish close relationships with our schools to provide support, advice, and assistance to find solutions for escalated issues. You will be able to do this by drawing on your experience, visiting the schools and participating in scheduled events throughout the year.

The primary objective is working collaboratively to support our systems and minimizing any disruption to learning. We do this through proactive checks and maintenance to keep systems running.

This role conducts tenant level administration for Office365 and Google workspace.

Who are we looking for:

  • Someone that has good experience and knowledge of Microsoft technologies, as well as some experience with Google workspaces.
  • Someone that is supportive and provide fresh ideas to find solutions.
  • Someone who is confident and articulate in their troubleshooting and decision making.
  • Someone who is knowledgeable in PowerShell and has actively been using in their role.
  • Someone that is willing to travel to schools to build and develop relationships with our schools.
