THE OPPORTUNITY



This role involves supporting armed forces and defence customers by delivering a full range of mission systems solutions primary for a land based vehicle.

Primary Purpose of the Role


The primary purpose of this role is to support IVVQ activities for a project refresh based at the Belfast office.


Key Interactions


You will work closely with all members of the project team, including :


Solution Integration and Test Engineers, Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM), Solutions Architect, and System Engineers.


This role involves significant engagement and collaboration with the customer and end-user communities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Liaise with project stakeholders to plan integration activities in line with the development/delivery lifecycle and timeline. Complete the IVVQ activities, including scoping, planning, and defining test cases and scenarios, execution, and demonstration. Monitor, review, and advise on technical issues encountered during the integration phase, directly supporting fault diagnosis and rectification. Perform regression testing following the rectification of hardware/software faults and any other discrepancies encountered during development, in-house integration and verification, factory, and on-site acceptance testing. Highlight technical risks associated with the integration phase to the appropriate stakeholders and propose suitable mitigation actions. Support the execution of in-house verification, factory, and site acceptance testing.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



Essential:



Strong knowledge of systems integration. Experience with architectures and interfaces of full flight simulation devices. Experience in leading installation and/or customer acceptance activities. Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), often remotely, to resolve technical issues. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including within multi-cultural environments and across different sites/countries. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under tight time constraints. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a capacity to engage stakeholders effectively. A methodical and analytical approach, promoting effective troubleshooting and fault-finding. Flexibility and adaptability in changing situations.

Desirable:



Knowledge of military and civil certification standards Familliarity with DOORS

Special Requirements:



Security clearance (SC-level) - Hold already or ability to be granted
