We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Insulators (individuals or teams) to join our insulation teams/ . The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilise a range of tools and techniques, and contribute to the safety and efficiency of building processes. Prior experience in roofing, plumbing, electrical work, or related trades is highly desirable. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to craftsmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, pipes, and other structures according to project specifications and schematics
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and secure insulation components
Assist with related tasks such as plastering or carpentry as required on-site
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately carry out insulation installation
Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians, plumbers, welders, and construction workers
Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project duration
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing repair or replacement of insulation systems
Requirements
Proven experience or training in construction-related trades such as joinery, plumbing, electrical work, plastering or carpentry is advantageous
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in insulation installation and general construction tasks
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
Strong understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction sites
Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Valid certification or experience in construction painting or fabrication is a plus
Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
