Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality control.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role with demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
