Java Technical Lead-AWS-Microservices
We are expanding our Java Development team in Nottingham!

Location: Nottingham
Work model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
The Role:
To achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management and your management chain
Drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc)
Set standards, across your team and wider engineering teams.
Innovate within your team, initiative area and contribute within your technical domain. Requirements for role:
The ability to deliver high quality applications on a scale.
What you will bring:
Exceptional programming skills and knowledge of building API's using modern OO languages preferably Java, SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP and REST
Effectively communicate and partner across engineering to maximise inner sourcing opportunities and reduce waste.
You are an advocate for quality and can lead the team leveraging approaches such as Pair Programming, TDD and BDD Experience that would be advantageous:
Working with the cloud/AWS and the opportunities that it brings
Solving real world problems and being comfortable working in a complex regulated environment
Nice to skills, but not mandatory:

• Exposure to working in a regulated industry and solving real-world challenges.
