JCB Service Advisor
Job Role
Dennison JCB has an exciting new opportunity for you to join our team as a Full Time Service Advisor. Working closely with the aftersales team this is a central role ensuring we capture every opportunity to provide the best service, add value to all our existing customers, and to assist in identifying new customers.
Hours & Location
This position will be based at our Dennison JCB Depot in Ballyhartfield, Templepatrick. The core hours of work will be Monday to Friday; 08:30 - 17:00, however, some flexibility will be expected outside of these hours as needed due to operational requirements.

About the role
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Completion of customer invoicing in a timely fashion ensuring accuracy throughout and meeting targets set
Dealing with invoice queries and chasing up information
Producing reports as and when required on invoicing progress, queries etc
Following up with cash sale customers
Liaising with our accounts department to set up customer accounts
Being the first line of contact for customers, greeting them in a courteous manner and interpreting their requirements mostly via telephone or e-mail
Booking in service visits for customer machines
Liaising with the Service Manager to maximise efficiency regarding engineer planning
Informing customers of any additional work required, providing accurate quotations and closing sales opportunities by gaining customer authority to complete the work
Proactively contact customers regarding requirements and to follow up on satisfaction with our service
Proactively building strong, positive long term relationships with customers
Collating and reporting on feedback gained from customers
Ensuring customer details are updated and correct in the system and adding new customer details in a timely fashion
Other general administration duties, such as running various daily, weekly and monthly reports, scanning and filing paperwork, record archiving and general word processing
Ad hoc duties commensurate with the position

Family-run business, Dennison Commercials has been serving the transport industry for over 50 years. As well as being one of the longest established Volvo Truck & Bus dealers in the UK and Ireland, Dennisons is also the appointed JCB dealer in Northern Ireland & Donegal for JCB construction, industrial, and access equipment.
The Dennison Group has depots based in Ballyclare, Newry, Dungannon, and Coleraine. We also have a Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop located in Ballyclare and our JCB dealership is located in Templepatrick.
Required Criteria

• Experience of working in a fast paced customer service, administration role
• Attention to detail and a very high degree of accuracy is essential
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• An excellent level of computer proficiency
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner
• Being accountable
• A full driving licence
• Be self-motivated, proactive and have the ability to work on their own initiative
• Have the ability to prioritise effectively and be highly organised
• Be willing to accept change and have the ability and flexibility to adapt accordingly as business needs require
• Have a responsible and methodical attitude to work

• Relevant experience working within a service department and particularly within a franchised dealership would be high desirable
• Experience or knowledge of the plant industry would be desirable
