Are you passionate about the motor vehicle industry and inspiring the next generation? We're looking for a Motor Vehicle Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality training to learners on our JGW+ programmes - with a focus on those not in education, employment or training (NEET).


In this hands-on role, you'll deliver accredited Motor Vehicle qualifications, while also supporting learners through a range of engaging activities such as mini projects, enterprise tasks, volunteering, and community-based schemes.


You'll have the ability to differentiate and challenge learners of all abilities, helping them build practical skills, boost their confidence, and explore realistic career paths. Your support will create meaningful progression opportunities into further training and employment in the motor vehicle sector.


ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.

Person Specification

What we are looking for

Experience

Minimum of 3 years occupational experience within the Motor Vehicle Industry

Qualifications & Knowledge

Qualification - at least a level 2 (or above) in Motor Vehicle.

Skills & Attributes

Able to work well with people at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player with ability to work on own initiative

Able to relate to the needs of young people
