Job Coach - Threemilestone with travel to Bodmin

Hours: 22.5 per week (term time only)

Bases: Threemilestone TR4 9NH

Fixed term contract to 31/7/2026 in the first instance

Salary: 12.82 per hour (25,000 FTE) + Essential Car User Allowance (1353.48 FTE pro rata for part time)

As a Job Coach, you'll work closely with individuals aged 16 and above with learning disabilities, mental health and physical support needs. You will help them to discover their strengths, develop employability skills, and achieve sustainable employment, training, or further education. You'll also provide hands-on assistance with CV writing, interview preparation, travel training, and in-work support, making adjustments where needed to ensure every placement is successful. Using person-centred coaching, you'll deliver 1:1 and group support, build strong employer relationships, and help shape inclusive workplaces across projects such as:

Supported Internships & DFN Project Search

Access to Work & Supported Employment

Post-16 Education & Work Experience initiatives

What you will bring


Experience working with people with SEN, learning disabilities, and/or mental health needs Ideally with an understanding of supported employment, employment pathways and employment barriers

Strong communication and organisation skills

GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths & English if possible, coupled with a relevant training qualification (TSI/Level 3 Job Coach training, BASE Certificate)

Flexibility to work across various locations and settings

Passion for inclusion, empowerment, and creative problem-solving
