We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, with proficiency in various hand and power tools. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks. Perform joinery work with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes. Carry out roofing tasks as required, ensuring structural integrity and weatherproofing. Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment during construction projects. Engage in construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, masonry, and electrical teams to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry or joinery is essential. Familiarity with fabrication techniques and assembly processes is highly desirable. Proficiency in using various hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders). Experience in roofing, heavy lifting, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
