We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role involves fabricating and assembling various wooden structures, ensuring high-quality finishes, and collaborating with other tradespeople on site.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. must have own tool. Collaborate with electricians and masons to integrate joinery work with other construction elements. Carry out heavy lifting as required during the installation of large components or materials. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter, with a strong understanding of joinery techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform basic electrical tasks related to joinery projects is advantageous. Experience in masonry work is considered a plus. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour
