Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand precision, creativity, and a proactive approach. Needed experience with insurance works.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork such as doors, windows, cabinetry, siding, and fixtures with precision Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall installation Install roofing systems, flooring, tiles, stucco finishes, and other building components in accordance with project plans Perform restoration tasks including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and general repairs on various structures Fabricate custom components using woodworking techniques or CNC machinery as needed for specific projects Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe movement of construction materials on site Read construction plans and schematics accurately to guide installation processes such as rebar placement or fixture mounting Support plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or other trades when required for comprehensive project execution Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols

Skills



Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning Proficiency in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and CNC machinery for fabrication tasks Strong background in construction site experience across residential or commercial projects Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and roofing systems installation methods Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, siding installation, caulking, tile laying and flooring installation with attention to detail Experience in restoration industry tasks such as water damage repair or mold remediation is highly desirable Familiarity with schematics for fixture installation or electrical wiring is a plus Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout demanding workdays Basic understanding of plumbing systems or electrical experience is advantageous for supporting diverse project needs Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour
