We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The Joiner will play a crucial part in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, fittings, and furniture according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and installation of doors and windows. Engage in joinery work, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts. Provide electrical support for installations that require wiring or fixtures. Handle heavy lifting as necessary during the assembly and installation processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and assembly processes within the joinery field. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction and woodworking. Experience in carpentry finishing work. Familiarity with joinery practices that ensure high-quality craftsmanship. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties. Competence in construction painting techniques for various surfaces. Basic plumbing skills for integrating fixtures into joinery projects. Understanding of masonry principles for structural applications when required. Electrical experience is advantageous for completing integrated installations effectively.
