We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joiner to join our construction and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry disciplines, including framing, trim, and cabinetry, with a strong focus on precision and craftsmanship. This role involves working on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration, manufacturing, and custom fabrication. The Joiner will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Candidates with a background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation will excel in this position. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork, cabinetry and other fixtures
Operate hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and hammers as well as power tools
Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site at all times
Experience
Proven experience in construction trim carpentry, cabinetry installation
Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and construction projects
Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate project execution
Prior work on construction sites involving heavy lifting and working at heights preferred
