: Joiner/Decorator Maintenance Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Joiner/Maintenance Engineer to perform both reactive and planned internal maintenance tasks. This role primarily involves hanging door sets, architraves, skirting and window installations, but also includes other internal maintenance work such as basic drylining, internal floor repairs, painting etc. Works will be based across Manchester and North West England with daily travelling up to 3/4 hours total (company vehicle and fuel car provided). Occasional requirement to stay away from home. Weekend and overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out joinery tasks including the installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring, staircases, and other timber fixtures.
Perform minor carpentry repairs to ensure safety and reduce hazards, such as repairing damaged flooring or loose fittings.

Conduct reactive maintenance tasks promptly to address internal issues. Undertake planned maintenance, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in joinery and maintenance roles. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Flexibility to handle a variety of maintenance and decorating tasks. Providing good customer service to clients.

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
