The Role:
As a Joiner at Markham Wallis, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding results across a wide range of projects. You'll work on both site-based and workshop joinery tasks, ensuring every aspect of your work meets the company's high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair doors, windows, frames, skirting, staircases, roofs (including traditional) and flooring.
Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, furniture, and fittings, including showroom kitchens.
Work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Manage and use hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Be willing to travel and work out of town when required by the business.
Represent Markham Wallis with professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service on every project.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Joiner.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification).
Strong knowledge of joinery tools, materials, and techniques, with a personal portfolio of tools suitable for the role.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to on-site challenges.
A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude towards work.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
CSCS card (desirable but not essential).
Willingness to work at height and in varying weather conditions.
