Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing a variety of wooden and other materials to support building projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in carpentry and joinery, looking to contribute to diverse construction projects including roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical installations. The successful applicant will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Works Mainly Centre Around Property Maintenance In And Around The Northern Counties & East Midlands

Duties



Fabricate and assemble bespoke joinery components using hand tools and power tools Install wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with project specifications Assist with roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as required Perform heavy lifting to handle materials safely and efficiently Conduct construction painting where necessary to ensure finishes meet quality standards Utilise carpentry and joinery skills to create precise cuts, joints, and fittings Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of building elements Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations

Experience



Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery roles Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers Proficient with power tools including drills, sanders, and saws Experience working on roofing projects or masonry is advantageous Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is desirable but not essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during construction activities Previous experience in construction painting or related trades is beneficial

Successful Candidate Will Be Required To Work As Part Of A Team But Must Also Be Assured To Work On Their Own So A Full Driving Licence Is Essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Work Location: In person
