Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform precise cuts and measurements. Execute joinery tasks with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Perform construction painting as needed to finish projects. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the trade. Experience in roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction painting techniques is beneficial. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
