Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joiner to join our construction and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction estimating, and working with various hand and power tools. This role involves precise craftsmanship in framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and restoration projects across diverse construction sites. The Joiner will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards on all projects. Must have own tools, Transport and PPE

Duties

Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork, cabinetry, fixtures, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects Perform framing tasks Install doors etc Fabricate custom components as needed for remodeling or renovation projects Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on site Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet project specifications and deadlines Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety protocols

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, including trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry installation, roofing, siding, or related fields Strong knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Relevant certifications or licenses related to carpentry or construction are preferred but not required
