We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and repairing structures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project undertaken.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform joinery tasks.
Conduct roofing installations and repairs as needed.
Engage in construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished projects.
Assist with plumbing tasks related to joinery work.
Perform masonry work as required for structural integrity
Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently during construction activities.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
Proficient in fabrication and assembly techniques relevant to joinery.
Strong knowledge of carpentry principles and practices.
Experience with hand tools and power tools used in the construction industry.
Familiarity with roofing methods and materials.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
Competence in construction painting techniques for finishing touches on projects.
Basic plumbing skills for integrating fixtures within joinery work.
Understanding of masonry principles for structural applications.
