We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring precision and quality in all work. This role requires a strong understanding of joinery techniques, as well as the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Joiner will play a crucial role in the construction process, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. Must have own tools and transport

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and cabinetry. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to project specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless integration of all components. Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly. Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in carpentry. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Knowledge of masonry principles is advantageous for integrated projects. Basic electrical skills are beneficial for working alongside other trades. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
