Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden and other material structures. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, joinery, and construction trades to contribute to diverse projects, including roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical work. The position involves working on-site in a dynamic environment, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Responsibilities



Fabricate and assemble bespoke joinery components using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications. Install wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and flooring with precision. Assist in roofing tasks, including the installation of roof trusses and sheathing. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate smooth workflow on site. Conduct construction painting, masonry work, plumbing, and electrical tasks as required by project scope. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project progression and adherence to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use.

Requirements



Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related trades. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices. Experience operating power tools safely and effectively on construction sites. Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems, electrical installations or related skills is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks over extended periods. Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to high-quality projects across various sectors.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 488.40-750.00 per week
