Job Description

Dolphin (Sheffield) Ltd is a privately owned Commercial Refurbishment, Building Maintenance and Decorating Contractor established 50 years.

The Business carries out works for leading public and private sector Clients including Education establishments, Local Authorities, NHS, Architects, Leisure, Retail and Leading private organisations.

Majority of works are carried out within the South Yorkshire Area and individual projects range from 0-500K in Value.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in the same sectors and categories of works but this is not essential.

CSCS preferred.

Skills required:

- All aspects of onsite first and second fix Joinery.

- Possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various joinery techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials.

- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.

- Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools relevant to joinery.

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other trades.

Duties will include:

- Working on small to medium sized refurbishment projects.

- Day to day reactive repairs

- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly of large components.

- Undertaking works to doors / frames, windows / screens, stud partitions, kitchen units and all types of reactive day to day repairs.

- Playing a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of structures, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

- Working as part of a team alongside other trades and Contracts Management to ensure a seamless delivery of works.

- A flexible collaborative attitude is essential.

- Ability to work on own initiative.

- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

- Full drivers license required.

- Supervisory opportunity for right candidate.

Job Type: Full time permanent on the books.

Pay: 15.83/hour
