We are seeking a skilled and reliable carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential/ new build projects from 1st fix joinery to finishing. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Install all aspects of first fix joinery and demo
Install kitchens
Install all aspects of second fix joinery
Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut
Ensure compliance with building regulations and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with site managers and other tradespeople to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter on residential conversions/ new build projects.
Solid understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving license
Own hand tools and power tools
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent qualification).
Experience with modern building methods and sustainable materials.
